Returning with two progressive house cuts, Aerologic features in our December 2016 release with his first solo release in over a year. Breathless builds up with a growling dark bass and breaks down into a melody featuring a haunting piano riff and uplifting warm synth chords, set over pumping electronic beats. Sangria evokes the summer sun and party nights with infectious happy piano chords and upbeat synth arpeggios playing a latin flavoured melody. Both tracks are free to download and use under a Creative Commons licence in true Toucan tradition.
Marc Burt returns bringing two new progressive trance tracks with a classic twist. Poles Apart features a twirling catchy riff set to a background of echoing chords and crisp electronic rhythms, combining the classic trance sound with modern progressive beats. Wheels In Motion features a shuffling, garage style rhythm, warm trance chord riffs and a deep electronic bassline creating haunting melodies weaving in and out of the track. Both tracks are available to download free of charge and are released under a Creative Commons licence for reuse in your DJ sets, videos and more.
This release features two big room house tracks from Aerologic with chunky synthesizer melodies and upfront electronic rhythms. Kicking things off is Transformation, featuring a massive trance supersaw riff, tingling arpeggios and a bleepy melody. The second track, Jangle, features plenty of warm synth chords and a deep, growling bassline building to a crescendo before breaking into uplifting trance melodies with jangly synthesized bell sounds. Both tracks are included here in full length, DJ friendly format ready for mixing into your set.
To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we revisit our first release. Aerologic have remixed Thirty One, keeping the uplifting trance melodies and adding contemporary EDM beats, bass and stabs. UK hardcore is a style which proved very popular in the early days of Toucan, and is something we admit to have neglected of late! To mark the occasion and put this right, Dreamworld have remixed Formation into a pumping UK hardcore anthem, building up with frenetic beats before breaking into sizzling trance-core stab patterns. We are not going to mess with the formula which has proved so popular for the last decade, so in time-honoured fashion both tracks are of course free to download in high quality mp3 format and available for re-use under a Creative Commons licence...
This release features three new mixes of Marc Burt's trance track Ethereal. Aerologic presents two mixes, the upfront mix lifts the uplifting pads from the original and blends in spacious, reverberating trance riffs, before breaking down with the original warped synth riff and adding bleepy, computerised arpeggios, ending with another breakdown into the uplifting pad section. The progressive mix focusses on the warped synth riff, filtering this in and out before a huge electro chord breakdown which slowly builds with the synth being brought back to a crescendo. Blastculture returns to add his own minimal house grooves to his steampunk remix, emphasising the synth arpeggios and adding funky house rhythms.
Blastculture returns with another two progressive house cuts featuring his trademark infectious yet minimal groove. Building up with driving club beats with tribal rhythms before a slightly sinister breakdown introduces strings and effects, No1 Is Safe is a DJ friendly pumping minimal track which will get those dancefloors moving. Speak Out combines shuffled rhythms with a garage influence, orchestral swells, spoken female vocal samples and bubbling flange effects and a filter breakdown to create an atmospheric dancefloor workout.
This EP contains two full length, DJ friendly progressive house tracks from Marc Burt. Blending a haunting, bleepy riff with a strange, elastic lead sound, Bungee Jump brings to the dancefloor the breathtaking feeling of flying through the air at the control of nature. Taking a step back in time for the second track, Pages From Ceefax fuses easy listening with house music using warm, retro chords and rhythms to bring back that early morning vibe of watching teletext before the advent of the Internet. Two progressive cuts from Marc Burt feature in this release, combining subtle trance sounds with the crispest of house rhythms and melodic textures. Outback features wobbly bass sounds, influenced by the Didgeridoo, and combined with warm, ambient and uplifting pads. Deep Sea sets melodic aynth arpeggios against a backdrop of hypnotic beats, piano chords and diving effects. Aerologic complete the release with a floor-filling EDM remix with pitchbending riffs and an enormous build-up to bring the crowd to a frenzy. Shinoda vs Akane features hypnotic tribal grooves, house beats and plenty of effects. Vincent Vega on the Floor mixes smooth pads and minimal intricate rhythms while retaining those Blastculture dancefloor grooves.
Aerologic presents two new tracks in this release. Close Encounters is a spaced out fusion of house and progressive trance with wobbling synth riffs layered on top of bouncy house rhythms, sizzling bass and glitchy alien sounds. iFunk is a progressive house cut with funky synthesized bass, warm synth chord patterns and rising arpeggio effects. Both tracks are full length, unmixed versions and released under a Creative Commons licence.
