In the third volume of 2010 remixes from Toucan Music, two Psychadelik Pedestrian tracks are reworked by Beat Doctor. First up is Psychadelik Pedestrian's 2009 track, World Of Fantasy, which is remixed in a slightly minimal old skool deep house style with retro synth basslines, stabs and pads. The B-side is 1998 track Eternal Truth, which is moulded into an upbeat bouncy house track, retaining the classical piano and strings, and adding sidechained pads, a thumping kick and sizzling contemporary synths.
Bouncy, uplifting hardcore from Dreamworld with sizzling synths, wobbling bass sounds and a catchy female vocal sample. The track is a full length, DJ friendly cut ideal for mixing into any uptempo hardcore set.
Redmann presents a trio of religious-themed tracks in this E.P. release, all influenced by old hymn tunes. First up is Peace, an instrumental downtempo / chillout track with large trip-hop beats, a moving piano riff and orchestral strings. Let There Be combines house beats and throbbing sidechained bass with arpeggio synths. Friend retains the uptempo, house sound and adds more of an electro feel. All three tracks are free to download in full high quality MP3 format.
Old skool rave meets electro house in this release from Beat Doctor. Electro beats and electro stabs, warped bass and slightly sinister textures resound in "Lost The Plot", while the remix of "On The Road" is a stomping bouncy house track with gritty synth riffs. Both tracks are in full DJ friendly mixes, suitable for mixing into any set.
Melodic, progressive trance from Marc Burt. The haunting pianos and uplifting synth pads in Ethereal are backed by bouncy house beats and fat analogue bass riffs. The bonus track is a remix of Marc's Exodus, which is warped into a thumping, melodic sidechained trance stormer by JMD. As usual both tracks are available to download in high quality MP3 format.
Psychadelik Pedestrian combines filtered electro breakbeats with an infectious growling bassline, bleepy techno riffs and trance synths for the original mix of Power Line. Beat Doctor works the same synth riffs and basslines into a pumping house remix complete with four to the floor beats and sidechaining effects.
The Toucan livens things up with this furious blend of futuristic driving electro breakbeats, distorted and aggressive digital vocals, and rolling bass. On the remix is the Beat Doctor, with a funky, warm analogue synth house sound. Finally, there's the exclusive drum solo, a mix of the backing breaks, programmed by The Toucan. Feel free to use all or part of the drum solo as backing in your own tracks - if you do, please give credit to Toucan Music.
